Technical principles
Bird song is a biological characteristic, and each species´ bird song has its own characteristics, also known as voiceprint. Therefore, bird voiceprints can be used to distinguish different birds, which is based on the basic principle of voiceprint recognition of birds.
This technology first collects bird song signals, as shown in the figure below. The bird song signals are collected and amplified by a microphone and converted into sound signals for subsequent processing, transmission, or storage.
